I was born a psychic. My first initiation into the Shamanic way of life commenced when I was only 8 days old. I had a very close encounter with death due to a childhood illness. My Russian Grandmother Lydia used traditional healing methods to return my Spirit back to my body.

She was my teacher and my guide, who during frosty winter nights introduced me to the Ancient and Sacred Art of making and reading La Lalushka Spirit Dolls.

From the time I was a little girl I could see visions and tell stories to my older brothers.

My destiny dictated that the special gifts I received as a child were to lay dormant inside me for many years, while I pursued a western way of life: successful swimming career, Masters Degree in Education, marriage, money, prestige….

Until one day….

My imaginary world of success crumbled, taking me on the path of abuse and betrayals. I suffered many years of darkness, despair and desolation in the physical realms.

Finally………..

Empty handed, I found myself sitting with the Shaman in the desert.

Here through a Vision, my true vocation to become a Shaman was revealed.

 Then an amazing thing happened:

My Grandmother, as she promised me many years before, had come back in a vision. She asked me to place a photograph of me sitting on a rock in a cave in The Darling Range in Western Australia on a particular spot on the poster of a WOLF that I kept in my bedroom. As I saw my image “ fitted’’ to the poster in 8 spots, I stared at it with disbelief. I knew this was not just a coincidence. I felt the power and magic of that special moment.  I knew that it was a message from beyond,- a  sign I had been  waiting for.  After my Grandmothers departure to the spirit realms - by tradition passed in my family through the generations as well as the choice made by my Grandmother,   I  was the one  who was  trained to make Lalushka Spirit Dolls –

 (Little bead dolls with remarkable power connecting to Lalushka Sacred Energy of Trans- Formation). The same energy, which many years ago my Grandmother had used to save my life. So I looked at the poster knowing that the  time had come…   I understood the symbolic  language of that  image. It also confirmed   that my life as a healer stood on “rock solid” ground. - That I can rely on many helpers around me including The  Medicine of Goanna  as my animal Totem whose shape was  vividly depicted on  the rock beside me.  I knew in my heart that the  Spirit of the Wolf would always keep a watchful eye over me. It took me nearly 4 years to decode the  last message contained in the picture. By developing and reshaping my Shamanic workshops I  finally  understood  that the 8 points in which my photograph  matched  the poster, represent 8  Sacred Steps by which Lalushka  Energy is accessed  during the workshops to  initiate  spiritual and psychic transformation.

The Lalushka site is intended to create a sacred Space on the Web, from where the voice and wisdom of our Grandmothers - Spirit of Lalushka - can reach the hearts of many. The stories and songs which Kashina and other women put on the site are to inspire you to start to heal and find the courage to walk the path of your dreams and to create a new, more fulfilling and happy life.

We hope that the Lalushka mail system will become a way by which we all can share our stories from every day life. We are waiting for your stories, but only the ones which belong to you.

	Gratitude For the past 13 years I have been privileged to meet and work with many beautiful and courageous women, who have learnt to trust their intuition and open dialogs with their hearts. By having the courage to transform their lives they have in many cases influenced others to take different directions on their paths.
